Please remember to convert all fonts to outlines or curves before you send the file. It's also a good idea to set the proof size to match the exact dimensions of your custom banner order. You don’t need to include bleeds in the proof unless they are part of the graphic. Make sure all text is at least two inches away from the edges of the banner's grommets. Here are the acceptable formats:
- EPS (Encapsulated Post Script)
- AI (Adobe Illustrator)
- PDF (Adobe Reader PDF)
- PSD (Adobe Photoshop)
- JPEG (High Resolution JPEG)
- TIFF (High Resolution TIFF)
Keep in mind that depending on the resolution and pixels, PSD, JPEG, and TIFF files can become blurry when enlarged. Please avoid using thumbnail JPGs or GIFs for large prints. If you need to submit these files, please follow these guidelines:
- 100% scale (full size output) at 100 dpi
- 50% scale at 200 dpi or higher
- 25% scale at 300 dpi or higher
- 10% scale at 600-1200 dpi
Vector files are great because line art can be scaled to any size without losing resolution, keeping the image sharp and clear. You can submit vector files in any size, as long as they are proportional to your banner's size.
